This is a software tool that can convert drawings in PDF format to DXF format, as well as DWG format.
It is necessary to get drawing files into PDF formats sometimes. This becomes necessary on projects, where collaborators/partners need to look at CAD drawings but do not need to change anything in them. As such, these partners/collaborators usually do not invest in a CAD/drawing set up. However, the main partner may need to work on the PDF format drawings, if there are comments and/or annotations on them. You then need a full-fledged drawing systems such as the industry standard AutoCAD or compatible to edit/make changes on the drawing. These programs use the Autodesk’s DXF or the DWG formats. The PDF drawings will have to be converted before any edits could be done. This tool will let you do that easily and conveniently.
The interface makes it very simple, so that even beginners would be able to use the tool. The main activity is to gather a list of files to be converted. This tool is a batch processor. When collecting files, you can add a folder too. By checking an option you can ask the program to include the sub-folders in the folder indicated. Some settings such as, if you want DWG or DXF format, destination file path etc need to be chosen. There are some options you can choose related to the details of the drawing. Then it is a single click conversion. A progress bar would have been a useful addition to the set up. It is a very handy tool overall and can handle all the formats of DWG and DXF released so far.
